All the very important answers to your very important bird questions are here.

Birds are fun to watercolor and aren’t particularly hard to paint. I painted a bunch of them first in the pandemic and yeah, I like doing it.
I believe creativity should be fun. It should be smart too, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun. -
It’s hard out there for a bird! The air is polluted, people are everywhere and everyone has AirPods in so they aren’t even hearing your cool ass birdsong.
And you would deny them a little smoke break in these times??? -
Oh so now they can’t have a little cig or bevy AND they can’t wear a gorgeous hat?
Look how good they look in the hats! They gotta be in the hats. -
First thing first: when you have a gift like being a mid amateur watercolor painter, you have to share it with the world.
Second thing: the job market had made it beyond depressing to look for jobs. Every listing is insane and every job you apply for has been applied to by 10,000 other people. AI is reading most resumes and cover letters. It's hard to stand out. It’s even harder to keep your sense of humor. But me? I thrive on joy and laughter and so… here we are. -
I like SOME birds. I think parrots have kind of scary eyes and I don’t like that they can talk tbh.

Doesn’t it feel like the added mystery gives this whole experience a little extra flavor? Doesn’t it make you want to email me just a little bit more?

I really think I am! I lead teams who love me, I’ve created campaigns, activations and programs for big national brands, I’ve done everything from video to social to retail to experiential and more.
And you’ve found your way to the FAQ section of a personal pr stunt website I made. Seems like at least some of my copy and creative grabs attention, huh? -
HELL YEAH I PAINTED THESE.
Anything you see on this site that looks like water color is watercolor that I personally painted.
(I also came up with the concept, wrote 100% of the copy, did all the social and/or community management that brought you here and even did a tiny bit of custom CSS coding on this page.)
Materials:
Watercolor or mixed media paper
Bunch of random brushes from the tall set of drawers where we keep art supplies in my apartment
Pencil to draw some guidelines
Huge eraser to re-draw those guidelines
Cheap or cheap-ish paints to play with
BIG CUP OF WATER -
I am good at taking feedback and direction so I will allow you to have some bird input!
For example: if you are morally opposed to cigs, are sober, etc, I want your bird to represent what you do like—coffee, soda, fries, collecting stamps, etc.
Your bird WILL have a hat, but similarly, I will take suggestions on that hat!
What bird do you think you are? I love to hear what bird people think they are. -
I mean that’s insane but if you don’t want a bird, that’s okay!
I will still graciously send you my portfolio if you’d like and I will secretly paint you as a bird and donate it to an art museum or pin it to a street sign post somewhere in Chicago. -
THESE PAINTINGS ARE PRICELESS (and therefore don’t count as bribery for giving me a job interview, in case your HR department is asking!)
However, if you really want one, I will sell you one for $300.
